The food coma has worn off from Thanksgiving for me and waking up on December 1st today, I was so excited! First, I just love Christmas but just in general I am excited for the month ahead and also excited for the present moment. I knew it was important to be intentional with my thoughts on how I want the month to feel and how I will experience these last 30 days of 2021. All that comes in December, the holiday season, year end personal goals, work benchmarks that we strive for, more social engagements and more, doesn’t have to feel frantic, stressful or overwhelming. You’re in charge of your experience and how you choose to wrap up this year.

Is it time that you refresh your thoughts about December? Instead of feeling worn out, stressed out, like you can’t do all the things on your list, imagine if you could feel calm, present, loved, excited, fulfilled, balanced, supported, thankful, and more. First and foremost, don’t lug around the perfection attitude that you have to do all, be all. You don’t have to do or be anything and the idea of a perfect end to the year is different for each person but I caution you to strive for what you might label “perfect”. Having a perfectionist mindset is a slippery slope my friends! Trust me, I know because I struggled with that a lot of years. I needed two of me to accomplish what I set out to do sometimes! Often, we are so dang hard on ourselves and it isn’t the way to feeling and being our best version of ourselves.

Let me offer a few pointers for December to keep you out of overwhelm:
🔹Set your intention as to what kind of experience you want this December-the last month of 2021, the holidays-to be for you. Ask yourself..how do I want to be and feel come December 31st?


🔹Get clear, get specific, about what you want to experience then write it down. The more clear you get, the more you can visualize it and generate those feelings from within. Our thoughts create our feelings so choose your thoughts consciously.

🔹Visualization is key. Once you determine exactly what you want the end of 2021, December, to be for you, write it down then mentally play it out in your mind-practice/rehearse it. Visual the ideal result you want. Review your list and then visualize in your mind you are that person right now. Focus on how you would act, how you would feel, and so on. What is it like and how does it feel to be there at the end of the month? Rehearse in your mind how the month will go for you. If you don’t like how the holidays have gone for you in the past, quite rehearsing in your mind those negative moments. Release it and replace it with thoughts of what you want to create for yourself this month.

🔹As you practice visualization, you will notice a shift in yourself. Practice being in the mental space of feeling calm, grounded and feeling good. Your body energy, vibration, will resonate with your mind of feeling good.


🔹Be aware of how much time you spend in the day dreading, being negative, or feeling overwhelmed during this time of year. Instead, spend more time being conscious about your thoughts and what you are letting your brain think about. Spend more time in the day thinking of abundance, love, what brings you joy, things that raise your vibration. It will be easier to co-create the kind of month and close of 2021 you wish to have.
