It’s hard to believe that an entire year has passed since I embarked on this journey of podcasting. Every Thursday for the past twelve months, I’ve had the privilege of sharing tips, tools, coaching, and engaging guest speakers, all with the aim of helping you live your life fully. As I mark this milestone, I want to take a moment to reflect on three key insights that have been instrumental in this podcasting journey, and indeed, can apply to any endeavor you wish to undertake.

Celebrating the 1st Anniversary of my podcast The Kristi Jones Show…all thing things to Live Life Fully.

  1. Overcoming Excuses: Like many, I was adept at crafting excuses for why I hadn’t started my podcast. However, in 2022, I made a conscious decision to push past these self-imposed barriers and hit the “Go” button. It was a moment of liberation, realizing that the only thing standing between me and my aspirations was my willingness to take that first step. If there’s something you’ve been putting off, remember that the perfect time may never come. Start now, imperfect as it may be, and refine as you go.
  2. Seeking Support and Guidance: While taking the leap is crucial, it’s equally important to recognize that you don’t have to navigate your journey alone. I owe a debt of gratitude to Lauren Lomsdale of Aura Digital Consulting, whose expertise and support were invaluable in bringing my vision to life. Having someone you can rely on, bounce ideas off, and provide constructive feedback can make all the difference. Whether it’s a mentor, a coach, or a supportive friend, don’t hesitate to lean on the wisdom and experience of others as you pursue your goals.
  3. Consistency Is Key: Committing to a weekly podcast schedule wasn’t always easy, but it taught me the importance of consistency. Building an audience and cultivating engagement takes time and dedication. By showing up week after week, I not only honed my skills as a podcaster but also fostered a sense of trust and reliability with my listeners. Whatever you’re working on, remember that progress is often incremental. Stay the course, stay consistent, and trust in the cumulative power of your efforts over time.
